Iowa coach Jan Jensen expects to face a motivated Maryland team on Thursday night when the 10th ranked Hawkeyes visit the 15th ranked Terrapins. Maryland is 5-3 in the Big Ten and coming off a 30-point loss at third ranked UCLA.

Turnovers have been an issue at times for the Hawkeyes and Jensen says they will need to protect the basketball against Maryland’s pressure defense.

Jensen says decision making will be a key because Maryland uses a variety of defenses.

The Hawkeyes are 7-0 in the Big Ten.
