RUSSELL “Rusty” JAMES HERING, 54, of Oakland, died January 7, 2026. Funeral services for RUSTY HERING will be held 10:30-a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at the Oakland United Methodist Church in Oakland. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family will be held at the Oakland United Methodist Church on Wed., Jan. 14th, from 4:30-until 7-p.m.

Interment is at the Oaklawn Cemetery.

His father – Kenneth Hering, of Oakland.

His brothers – Jay Hering, of Oakland, and Tim (Brenda) Hering, of Ashland, NE.
