Omaha man arrested on numerous charges, Saturday, in Glenwood

(Glenwood, IA) – Officials with the Glenwood Police Department report a man from Nebraska was arrested last Saturday (Dec. 27th) on numerous charges. 32-year-old Ryan Richard Hansen, of Omaha, was arrested at around 1:43-a.m. at the intersection of N. Locust and Sharp Streets. Hansen faces charges that include:
• Reckless Driving
• Eluding-Speed 25mph or more over the posted limit/2nd Offense
• Speeding
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• 2 counts of Failure to obey a stop sign/yield the right-of-way
• and OWI/2nd Offense.
Hansen’s bond was set at $13,500 altogether. Also arrested during the incident was 33-year-old Brandon Charles Amenta, and 43-year-old Jared Daniel Newman, both of Glenwood.
Amenta was charged with Interference with Official Acts, while Newman faces a charge of Driving Under Suspension. Bonds for both men were set at $300 each.
