The Drake men’s basketball team opens the Missouri Valley Conference race on Thursday night at Murray State. It has been a disappointing start to the season for the three-time defending champion Bulldogs, who are 6-5 under first year coach Eric Henderson.

Henderson says the Bulldogs have had difficulty developing an identity.

Murray State enters conference play with a record of 8-3.
