Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz plans to return for his 28th season as Hawkeye coach. Iowa just completed an 8-4 season and will find out Sunday where it will be headed for a bowl game. Ferentz is the Big Ten’s all-time leader of wins and led the Hawkeyes to eight wins or more in 10 straight full seasons.

Ferentz has led the program through rapid changes in the college football landscape which includes N-I-L, revenue sharing and the transfer portal.

Ferentz announced an incoming recruiting class of 22 players. The transfer portal opens in January.

Ferentz says 14 of the incoming recruits will enroll early in January.
