Team York named 2025 “Scrooge” winners in competition to gather food & donations for the Atlantic Food Pantry

(Atlantic, IA) A New Scrooge Has Been Crowned! Officials with the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce, today (Wednesday), announced that following 3 1/2 weeks of generosity, teamwork, and a bit of friendly competition, Team York (Kristy & David) have earned the title of 2025 Scrooge of Atlantic!
Together, the spirited contenders — Kristy & David York, Tanner Cisar (Hy-Vee), Derrick & Ruth Sears, and Krysta & BJ Hart — helped the Atlantic community raise:
  • A record $47,845.75 (The old record in 2023 was $29,872.20)
  • 6,431 food items
Team York, brought in an outstanding $17,220 and 752 food items to claim the coveted title! The Chamber thankso everyone who stepped up, donated, and helped make this a record-crushing year for the Atlantic Food Pantry.
