VERDELL HANSEN, 95, died Nov. 21st, 2025, at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan. Funeral services for VERDELL HANSEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at the Elk Horn Lutheran Church (Elk Horn, IA). Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday (11/28), from 4-until 6-p.m.

Memorials may be directed to Elk Horn Lutheran Church or the Danish Windmill.

Burial is in the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery.

Her sons – Kevin (Becky) Hansen, of Harlan, and Kent Hansen (& Sheila Gaube), of Council Bluffs.

Her daughter – Karel (Jerry) Rasmussen, of Houston, TX.

Her sister – Veretta Johannsen, of Midland, TX.

6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
