RICHARD “PETE” PETERSEN, 94, of Harlan, died Wed., Nov. 19, 2025, at Mercy Hospital. Funeral services for PETE PETERSEN will be held at 11-a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at the United Methodist Church in Kirkman. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at the Kirkman United Methodist Church is on Dec. 6th, from 9-until 11-a.m.

Burial is in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Kirkman.

His sons – Mark (Deb) Petersen, Brian Petersen, and Jeffrey (Cyndi) Petersen, all of Harlan.

His daughter – Tami (Dan) Goetz, of Cedar Falls.

9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
