EILEEN SORNSON, 85, of Exira, died Monday, November 17, 2025, at Heritage House in Atlantic. A Celebration of Life service for EILEEN SORNSON will be held at 11-a.m. on Nov. 26th, at the Elk Horn Lutheran Church. Roland Funeral service has the arrangements.

The service will be recorded and available on the funeral home website by end of day Wednesday.

Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 26th at the Elk Horn Lutheran Church.

Burial will be in the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to support causes that were dear to Eileen’s heart.

Her husband – Galen Sornson.

Her children – Brad Sornson (& Karla Gust); Gayleen Rutherford; Cory (Jennifer) Sornson, and Nathan Sornson (& Mindy Massey).

Her sister – Vicki (Arnie) Leistad.

8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
