Iowa State coach Matt Campbell says it is unclear when tight end Ben Brahmer might be able to return to the field. Brahmer was carted off the field in Saturday’s 24-19 loss to Arizona State and was later discharged after a brief stay in the hospital.

Campbell went to the hospital after the game to visit Brahmer and his family.

The Cyclones take a four game losing streak to TCU this week and Campbell says he is proud of the way his team continues to battle through adversity.

Campbell says a number of young players forced into the lineup due to injuries are making progress.
