Iowa hosts Penn State Saturday night
October 17th, 2025 by Ric Hanson
Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says there is no chance his Hawkeyes will be overconfident when they host a Penn State team that is coming off a three game losing streak, the firing of their head coach and the loss of starting quarterback Drew Allar. Ferentz says despite their struggles the Nittany Lions always have talent and the Hawkeyes know this team is no different.
Ferentz expects the Nittany Lions to be motivated even though he does not expect many changes.
Penn State receiver Devonte Ross had a big day in Kinnick Stadium last season when he played at Troy. He had five catches for 142 yards and a touchdown. He also return a punt 77 yards for a score.*
Listen for the game on KJAN, beginning at 4-p.m., Saturday with the pre-game show. Kick-off is at 6-p.m.
