Hopes are high for the UNI men’s basketball team as Ben Jacobson enters his 20th season at the helm. The Panthers return 11 players from last year’s team that finished 20-13 and played in the NIT.

After appearing in 33 games as a freshman, six-eight Will Hornseth is ready to fill the void in the post.

The Panthers were picked to finish second in the Missouri Valley preseason poll. They open the regular season at home on November sixth against Cal State Northridge.
