LESTER SHOWERS, 79, of Avoca, died Tue., Sept. 23, 2025, at his home. Funeral services for LESTER SHOWERS will be held 11-a.m. Mon., Sept. 29th, at Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sun., Sept. 28th, from 5:00-7:00 P.M.

Burial is at the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.

His wife – Linda Showers, of Avoca.

His sisters – Christina Rodenborn, of La Vista, NE; Marge Smith, of Denver, CO; Maxine Prochnow, of Kansas City, MO; Jean Knapp, of Omaha, NE, and Judy Stender, of North Liberty.

His sons – Craig Showers, and Raymond Showers, both of Avoca.

6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
