After winning at Rutgers Iowa prepares for No. 11 Indiana

(Radio Iowa) – Iowa will have its hands full on Saturday when the Hawkeyes host 11th ranked Indiana. The Hoosiers crushed ninth ranked Illinis 63-10 over the weekend to improve to 4-0. Iowa is coming off a 38-28 win at Rutgers to improve to 3-1 heading into their final game before a bye week.
That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz, who says he likes the progress his team is making.
Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski passed for 186 yards and added 55 on the ground with three touchdowns. His ability to run is a plus for the offense.
It was a usual game that saw the Iowa defense give up touchdowns on Rutgers first three drives. Gronowski says the offense was able to do its part.
Gronowski says the offense needs to do its part to help a team that is known for defense and special teams.
