August 2025 Weather data for Atlantic

(Atlantic, Iowa) – Weather data for Atlantic during the month of August, 2025 (Compiled here at KJAN – the official National Weather Service reporting site), shows we were about average for the High, and about slightly more than two-degrees warmer than normal, for the Low. The average High last month was 83, compared to the 83 degree norm. The average Low was 59, compared to the norm of 61. The warmest day last month was on the 15th, when we topped out at 95 degrees. Our coolest morning was on the 25th, when the thermometer bottomed-out at 43 degrees.
Rainfall for the month was a little less than typical for Atlantic. Rainfall amounted to 3.64 inches, which was about one-quarter of an inch less than normal.
Looking ahead, we find the average High temperature for September in Atlantic, is typically 76 degrees, while the average Low is 51. Precipitation typically amounts to 3.81-inches.
