LINDA KAY [Koob] SMITH, 71, of Anita, died Sunday, August 24, at MercyOne hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services for LINDA KAY SMITH will be held 11-a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Anita.

Visitation with the family present will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Anita from 6 till 8 pm.

Burial is in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita. A luncheon will be held at the funeral home following the graveside service.

Memorials can be made in her name to the Anita Public Library and can be left or mailed to the funeral home at PO Box 523 – Atlantic, IA 50022.

Her husband – Max.

Her children – Andrea (David) Wanner, and Kenny (Brooke) Smith.

Her sister – Rhonda (Robert) Davidson.

4 grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Marlo Smith, and multiple nieces and nephews.
