It may be running back by committee at Iowa where the Hawkeyes need to replace Kaleb Johnson, who rushed for more than 15 hundred yards and 21 touchdowns a year ago before being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sophomore Kamari Moulton rushed for more than 470 yards a year ago and is expected to have a much bigger role this season.

Junior Jaziun Patterson and Terrell Washington junior are expected to contribute as well and Moulton says all three compliment each other.

Patterson says there is good chemistry in the running back room.

Washington also spent time at receiver last season and feels his versatility is a plus.

Washington says all the running backs will need to step up this season.

The Hawkeyes open the season on August 30th at home against the University of Albany.
