UNI football coach Todd Stepsis expects to know who the starting quarterback for next season will be by the end of spring drills. Matthew Schecklman and Aidan Dunne are two of the candidates after getting significant playing time last season. Schecklman had seven touchdown passes in 2024 and Dunne had nine.

Stepsis says there may be a chance to use some of the quarterbacks in different spots.
