The CAM Cougars Boys Track & Field team have 15-man roster this season and are ready for many of the athletes to compete in both running and field events. CAM is led by two seniors, Brayden Chester and Kegan Croghan. The squad is made up of eleven underclassmen but many of them have quality experience.

CAM lost one senior from last year’s group giving them the ability to bring back nearly everyone plus a handful of freshmen. Head Coach Drew Ticknor says his seniors will be relied on to score but also look for Junior Collin Bower to score in the mid-distance running events.

The Cougars’ first meet of the year came at the IATC Indoor Championships in Ames last week. That was the first of 13 regular season meets with the next being the Bulldog relays at Bedford on April 1st.

Ticknor says despite being small in numbers, he is excited about his group.

The Cougars believe scoring will come from across the board this season.

A lot of the athletes on this year’s squad will wear many different hats.

The CAM Cougars will look to boost that experience this Spring and compete all season long.
