Perry man dies in a single-vehicle rollover accident

(Woodward, Iowa) – The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Saturday (today), said one person died in a single-vehicle, rollover accident early Friday morning. Authorities says Dallas County Dispatch was notified about the accident near Highway 141 and R Avenue near Woodward, at around 2:30-a.m., Friday.
Deputies located a 2005 Chevy Impala that had struck a power pole and rolled multiple times. They also found a deceased male inside of the vehicle. The man was identified as 22-year-old Josue Curiel, of Perry. His body was transported to the State Medical Examiners office for further investigation.
The cause and circumstances of the accident remain under investigation. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Dallas County EMS, the Perry Police Department, and the Woodward Fire Department.
