GARY LEE OLSEN, 77, of Exira, died Friday, January 24, 2025, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral arrangements for GARY OLSEN will be held 1-p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at the Exira Lutheran Church. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Exira has the arrangements.

Public visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 5-until 7-p.m.

Burial is in the Exira Cemetery. A luncheon will be held following the committal in the Fellowship Hall of the Exira Lutheran Church.

His wife of 52 years – Luann Olsen.

His daughters – Charity Olsen (& Doug Foster), of Council Bluffs, Tina Olsen (& Marty Juelsgaard), and Brenda (Rick) Christensen, all of Audubon; Tabby Olsen, of Kimballton, and Alicia (Brian) Stortz, of Meadow Grove, NE.

His brother – Brad Olsen (& Mary Brasfield).

His sister – Marsha Hansen.

14 grandchildren; 2 Great-grandchildren; his brothers-and sisters-in law, and other relatives.
