WALTER McCURDY, 87, of Massena, died Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the Creston Specialty Care in Creston.  A Prayer service for WALTER McCURDY will be held 5-p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15th, at the Steen Funeral Home in Massena.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home, from 5-until 7-p.m., Saturday.; Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Burial will be in the St. Timothy’s (Reno) Cemetery, at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the Walter McCurdy Memorial Fund to be established by the family, at a later date.

His sons – Joel (Sharie) McCurdy, of Massena, and Mark McCurdy, of Ankeny.

His daughters – Kathy (Mick) Pierce, of Elk Horn; Barbara (Jim) Angell, of Atlantic; Donna Bierbaum, of Walnut, and Brenda (Tim) Muggenberg, of Coon Rapids, MN.

His brother – Calvin McCurdy, of Massena.

His sister – Marjorie Adair, of Moberly, MO.

13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
