TRENT LEE SMITH, 44, of Des Moines, died Monday, March 20th, at the Taylor Hospice House. A Mass of Christian Burial for TRENT SMITH will be held 11-a.m. Friday, March 24th, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home is on Thursday, from 4-until 9-p.m., with a Wake service at 7-p.m.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Red Oak.

His mother – Thelma {Schwarte} Nelson, of Harlan.

His daughters –  Natalie SMith and Kenley Smith, both of Van Meter.

His brothers – Tim (Holly) Smith, of Blair, NE; Todd (Shireen) Smith, of Omaha; and Troy Smith, of Shelby.

His sister – Traci (Mark Haynes) Smith, of Harlan.
