DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — No injuries were reported when a passenger plane made an emergency landing at an Ohio airport after the pilot reported trouble with the plane’s hydraulics system. A spokeswoman at Dayton International Airport said an American Airlines flight headed from Des Moines, Iowa, to Reagan National Airport in Washington landed in Dayton around 8:30 Friday morning.

Airport spokeswoman Linda Hughes says there were 69 passengers on board. She says no other flights were affected by the landing. Hughes says the hydraulics system reportedly began operating again prior to landing, but mechanics at the airport were checking it. Hughes had no information about the flight number or whether the plane remained at the airport.
