JAMES “Redman” MITCHELL, 54, of Greenfield, died Friday, September 18th,  at his home in Greenfield. Celebration of Life services for JAMES MITCHELL will be held 11-a.m. Tue., Sept. 22nd, at the United Methodist Church, in Greenfield. Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

A luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the services.

Friends may call at the Greenfield United Methodist Church from 1-until 7-pm Monday, Sept. 21st, with the family greeting friends from 5-until 7-pm.

Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the James Mitchell memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.

His mother – Barbara Mitchell, of Greenfield.

His wife – Denna Mitchell, of Greenfield

His daughters – Amanda Mitchell (& Christopher Chaney), of Greenfield; Brittany (Justin) McManus, of Ankeny, Crista (Brandon) Reilly, of Greenfield and Kaitlyn Mitchell (& Jesse Zimmerline), of Greenfield.

His sisters – Cyndi (Monte) Lorenzen, of Clive, and Chandra (Ron) McCann, of Greenfield

His brother – Jeff (Kelly) Mitchell, of Greenfield.

Mother-in-law – Betty Hager of Greenfield

3 Brothers-in-law – Rick (Rita) Hager of Glenwood. Jeffrey (Andrea) Hager  of Huntsville, Alabama.  Darrin (Stacey) Hager of Winterset.

2 Sisters-in-law – Vicki Jess of Norwalk. Pam (Larry) Collins of Indianola.

4 grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
