Authorities in Creston report the arrest Tuesday afternoon of 50-year old Jon. J. Perry. The Creston man was arrested for OWI/1st Offense and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs. He was later released from the Union County Jail on $1,000 bond.

And The Book Store at 210 N. Maple Street in Creston reported to police on Tuesday, that sometime between 12-a.m and 11:30-p.m. Sunday, someone took an old Fareway shopping cart from an upstairs hallway in the store. The cart was valued at $100.
