Snowfall totals (as of 7-a.m) 2/5/14

The National Weather Service offices in Des Moines and Omaha have released the most recent storm totals for snowfall in the listening area.  Bedford, in Taylor County and Beaconsfield, in Ringgold County, recorded the most snowfall at 6-inches each. Clarinda and Adel both reported 5-inches.

Elsewhere: Sidney had 4.8 inches of snow; Underwood reported 4.2-inches; Shenandoah received 4-inches; Red Oak had 3.8; Little Sioux (Harrison County), 3.7″; Hastings (Mills Co.), 3.5″; Oakland, 3.1″; Logan (Harrison Co.), 3-inches; Denison & Carroll, 1.5″; Onawa, 1.1″, and Corning had 1-inch of snow.

In Atlantic, our 24-hour snowfall amounted to 1.5-inches, for a storm total of 3-inches (Since early Tuesday morning). The 24-hour total melted down to .16″ of precipitation. Massena reported 2-inches, for a storm total of 3.5-inches.
