An investigation into a reported burglary in progress Saturday afternoon in Montgomery County has resulted in the arrest of an Emerson woman. 44-year old Pamela E. Caruso was taken into custody shortly after 2:20-p.m., when deputies arrived at a rural Montgomery County residence and discovered Caruso allegedly forced her way into the home and assaulted one of its residents.

Caruso was brought to the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center and charged with Burglary in the 1st degree. Her bond was set at $25,000.
