Sheriff’s officials in Audubon County said today (Monday), one person was injured during a single-vehicle accident early Friday morning about two-miles east of Audubon. 19-year-old Aaron James Eddy, of Audubon, was transported to the Audubon County Hospital by Audubon Rescue, after the pickup he was driving left the road and entered the south ditch near the intersection of 200th Street and Lark Avenue . The 1998 Chevy hit an embankment and crossed over the road before coming to rest in the southeast ditch. The accident, which happened as Eddy was traveling east on 200th Street at around 5:45-a.m., remains under investigation, and charges are pending.  Damage to the pickup was estimated at $2,000.
