They’ll also hear a special presentation with regard to work on the Middle School, from Design Alliance’ Jerry Purdy.

Action items on the school board’s agenda include approval of: A Summer 2014 A-H-S Spanish class trip to Costa Rica; Approval of the district’s annual report to the community, and approval of an affiliation agreement with the University of Phoenix.

In other business, the Atlantic School Board will act on approving a Cell Phone Tower three-party agreement between Verizon Wireless, Rolling Hills Communication, Inc., and the Atlantic Community School District.  In the discussion segment of Monday’s meeting, the board will talk about the Fiscal Year 2014 budget and athletic facilities. No action is expected to be taken on those matters.
