2 search warrants result in 6 arrests

Separate search warrants executed over the weekend in Shenandoah resulted in the arrest of six people. According to the Shenandoah Police Department, five persons were arrested after a search was conducted at a residence in the 1200 block of west Thomas Avenue, in Shenandoah.  Ashley Greene, of Essex, and Jamie Stockwell, Katherine Lynn, and Dee Mattley, all of Shenandoah, were all charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Mattley faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance. In addition, Matthew Whitt of Essex, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and also faces a charge of illegal possession of prescription drugs.

A 2nd search warrant was executed at a residence on west Lowell Avenue, resulted in the arrest of David Dawson, of Shenandoah,  on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Dawson, Greene, Lynn, and Stockwell were all cited into court and released. Mattley and Whitt both posted bond and were given a court date before being released. Deputies with the Fremont and Page County Sheriff’s Offices assisted Shenandoah Police in serving the search warrants.
