The Clarinda Police Department reports one person was  arrested Wednesday (October 31^st ) on an assault charge. 34-year old Jeremy Lyn Martin, of Clarinda, was taken into custody shortly after 6:00 a.m. , when officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 614 S. 14^th Street. Martin was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 24-year old female who resides at the residence with him. Martin was charged with simple misdemeanor domestic abuse assault and taken to the Page County Jail, where he was being held without bail, pending an initial appearance before the Page County Magistrate Court.
