KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – Pro Bowl linebacker Tamba Hali was back in his familiar No. 91 jersey Wednesday after he was suspended for the Chiefs season opener. Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel said he expected Hali to take full part in practice after serving his one-game suspension for an undisclosed violation of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. His return couldn’t come soon enough for Kansas City, which failed to get much of a pass rush in a 40-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Justin Houston had the Chiefs’ only sack, allowing Matt Ryan to shred the Kansas City secondary for 299 yards and three touchdowns passing. Hali made his first Pro Bowl last season after finishing second in the AFC with 12 sacks.  Kansas City plays at Buffalo on Sunday. You can hear the game on KJAN!
