Injuries reported following Page County head-on crash

Two southwest Iowa women suffered unknown, possible injuries Saturday afternoon, during a head-on collision in Page County. According to the Page County Sheriff’s Department, 23-year old Keari Bebout, of Clarinda, and 56-year old Irene White, of Coin, were injured when their vehicles collided at around 12:25-p.m. Saturday, west of Clarinda.

Officials say a car driven by Bebout was traveling south on “P” Avenue and preparing to turn into a driveway, when her car crossed the center of the road and met head-on with a car driven by White. The accident happened just south of Highway 2.

Both drivers were taken to the Clarinda Regional Health Center. The extent of their injuries is not known. The accident remains under investigation.
