(Clarinda, IA) – The Page County Attorney’s Office, Friday (May 29th), released a report on the outcome of cases heard before a magistrate in Page County District Court, during the week of May 11th:
37-year-old Lorenzo Davila, of Shenandoah, admitted to violating the terms and conditions of probation. He was given 2 days contempt time to be served at the Page County Jail and was ordered to continue on probation as previously sentenced.
48-year-old Adam Wayne Morris, of Clarinda, pled guilty to a first offense Sex Offender Registration Violation. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison. The sentence was suspended, and Morris placed on probation for 2 years. He was also ordered to pay a fine, court costs, surcharges and court-appointed attorney fees.
51-year-Samuel Wade Walker, Clarinda, pled guilty to OWI (Operating While Under the Influence) 2nd Offense. He was ordered to serve 45 days in jail, with all but 7 days suspended. Walker was fined and placed on probation for a period of one-year. As a condition of probation, the he is required to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and complete the 12-hour Drinking Driver’s Course. Walker subsequently also admitted to violating the terms and conditions of his probation. His probation was revoked and the original sentence was imposed.
He was ordered to serve 100 days in the Page County Jail, receiving credit for any time already served, including 29 days of “good time”. The sentence is to run concurrent with the aforementioned OWI case.
