Iowa State’s Killian Toure undergoes shoulder surgery

Iowa State sophomore guard Killian Toure (toar-ay) will be sidelined for the first half of next season after undergoing surgery on his injured shoulder this morning. Toure suffered he injury at a Damian Lillard Elite Camp. The native of France missed the early part of summer workouts with a shoulder problem but said back in late July it was improving.

ISU coach T.J. Otzelberg said last month that Toure is the best on ball defender in the nation.

Toure is expected to return to action in January.
