CONNIE PETTINGER, 80, of Anita, died Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Exira Care Center, in Exira.  A Mass of Christian Burial for CONNIE PETTINGER will be held 10:30-a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, in rural Cumberland. Lamb Funeral Home in Massena is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will greet friends on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Cumberland Community Building in Cumberland from 5-until 7-p.m., with a Rosary at 4:15-p.m. on Friday.

Burial is in the St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery.  A luncheon will be at the church hall following the burial. 

Memorials:  May be directed to the Connie Pettinger Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Her husband – Bernard Pettinger.

Her sons – Paul Pettinger (& Matt Hiatt); Mark (Kathy) Pettinger.

Her daughters – Kathy (Dan) Dobill; Kim (Matthew) Clinton, and Amy Pettinger (& Clint Davis).

Her brothers – Dale (Janet) Boswell; John (Shirley) Boswell; Tom Boswell; Fred (Bonnie) Boswell; Glen (Rhonda) Boswell.

Her sisters – Katie (John) Brennan; Jenny (Dave) Sinning; Barb (Bob) Wimmer; Patty (Tony) Mack; Teresa (Jeff) Cullen; and Julie Boswell.

14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
