SUZANNE “Sue” BARNES, 82, of Audubon (& formerly of Denison), died Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison. Memorial Services for SUE BARNES will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the First Presbyterian Church in Audubon. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon has the arrangements.
The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Church.
Following the memorial service, a luncheon will be held in the church’s fellowship hall.
Burial at a later date will be in the Butler Cemetery in Shenandoah.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Sue’s memory to Wesco Industries Foundation, Country Players Community Theater, or the Suzanne Barnes Memorial Scholarship. They can be mailed in care of Schmidt Family Funeral Home to P.O. Box 201, Audubon, Iowa 50025.
