Combat aviator and U.S. Representative Zach Nunn (IA-03) released the following statement after the race for Iowa’s Third Congressional District was called:
“Together, we delivered in a historic way for Iowa. I was proud to be one of the three most bipartisan members of Congress and, more than that, to turn roughly 30 Iowa ideas into results signed into law under two presidents. Under President Biden, we delivered paid parental leave for National Guard families. Under President Trump, we delivered an adoption tax credit for families who open their homes to a child, including through foster care. And this year, we built a veto-proof majority to deliver my rural housing bill to restore the American Dream of homeownership.
“Iowans have made their decision, and I respect it. I called Sarah Trone Garriott to congratulate her and wish her success serving Iowans in Congress. I’m looking forward to continuing to serve Iowans through the rest of my term, in uniform, and in the next chapter,” said Rep. Zach Nunn.
Rep. Nunn will continue to represent Iowa’s Third Congressional District through the end of his term in January.
