(Greenfield, IA) – The Adair County Sheriff’s Office reports a man from Greenfield was arrested on an Adair County warrant for multiple alleged felony sex offenses. 28-year-old Kenneth Dale Blazek was arrested April 9th on the warrant charging him with: 2 counts of Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree, 2 counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child (Fondle or touching), and Grooming. Blazek was being held in the Adair County Jail on a $200,000 cash-only bond. The warrant stems from an incident referred to authorities by the DHHS following an investigation.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office reports also, 23-year-old Johnathan Scott Clarke, of Fontanelle, was charged April 10th under an Adair County warrant for Supplying Alcohol to a Person under the legal age. His bond on that charge was set at $100,000. Clarke was previously charged with Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree (Child victim 4 years of age or older), and Enticing a Minor under the Age of 16 for Sexual Purposes, the cash-only bonds for which totaled $25,000. Clarke had been free on a pre-trial release on the latter charges, and under the supervision of the Iowa Department of Corrections. His bonds for the previous charges were reinstated.
And, on April 10th, 44-year-old Donald Lee Hume, Jr., of Greenfield, was arrested in Greenfield for Domestic Abuse Assault with Injury or Mental Illness/1st offense. Hume was later released on a $2,000 cash or surety bond, with 10% acceptable.
