Madison Wiltrout saved her best for last. Wiltrout set a Drake Relays record with a throw of 209 feet, one inch to win the women’s javelin. The winning effort came on her sixth and final throw.
It continued a strong start to the outdoor season for the 26-year old from Pennsylvania.
Wiltrout’s throw was the second furthest in the world this year.
