Preparations continue at the Wakonda Club in Des Mones for next week’s return of the PGA Tour Champions. The Principal Charity Classic is July 12th through the 14th. Alex McCarty is the tournament director.
McCarty expects the construction to be finished by the end of the week.
Ken McCullum is chairman of the board for the tournament and says construction begins about a month before the tournament.
McCullum says they also help prepare for the television coverage of the tournament.
The Wakonda Club has served as host of the tournament since 2013.
