Northern Iowa coach Todd Stepsis says the Panthers will work to limit penalties as they get ready for this week’s game at home against Indiana State. The Panthers were penalized 11 times for 132 yards in a 20-17 walk off loss at Southern Illinois.
Stepsis says the Sycamores are much better than their record. They are 2-6 overall and 0-4 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
The Panthers are 0-4 on the road but take a 3-0 record at home into Saturday’s game.
