Trojans Take Week One Loss While Putting up a Fight.

The Trojans opned their season at Glenwood. The Rams were a tough scheduled opponent for the trojans. The Rams started off hot by scoring on their first two drives. The Trojans, besides being down 14 points, go for back to back kick returns. The first kick return was by senior Ethan McNeal for about 90 yards. The second return was from Benton McLaren. The Trojans offenses struggled to get things started but everything started to click for them when James Brauer threw a touchdown pass to Zander Killion to give them their first offensive touchdown of the game. The defense started off hot in the 2nd half with an interception from Zander Killion and multiple fumbles to force the rams to turnover the ball. Jame Brauer had 19 passing yards on the night while Ethan McNeal had 68 rushing yards. Zander Killion was on fire as a reciever with 82 yards to end the game. Carter Hadley was all over the rams offense getting the most tackles on the night with 11 tackles. Coach Brummer had to adapt to the huge line that the Rams brought to the field.

Brummer also gives a shout out to the special teams for the two kick returns.

Brummer was happy with how the Trojans played.
