The Atlantic Trojans return home to Trojan Bowl this Friday for a high-stakes Week 7 matchup against the visiting Greene County Rams. The Trojans carry significant momentum into the contest following an impressive 33-7 road victory over Perry last week that pushed their record to 4-2. Atlantic’s offense continues to operate at a high level behind sophomore quarterback James Brauer, who has orchestrated the passing attack with 436 yards and 7 touchdown passes on 33 completions. The heart of the Trojans’ relentless offensive output remains senior running back Ethan McNeal, who has anchored the ground game with a punishing 775 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 104 carries. Out wide, junior playmaker Zander Killion serves as the primary target in the passing game, hauling in 12 receptions for 145 yards and 5 touchdowns. Defensively, Atlantic has established itself as an aggressive, game-changing unit, compiling 282.5 total tackles, 36 tackles for loss, 8 forced fumbles, and 6 interceptions. Head Coach Joe Brummer says the kids gain more confidence as the season continues.
The Trojans look to use that confidence to bring the physicality against the Rams
Coach Brummer and the team are excited to end their last two of three games at home.
