The Iowa women’s basketball team will have some extra slots to fill this off-season. Three players have announced that they will enter the transfer portal. Addie Deal and Callie Levin made their announcements on Monday, following Kennise Johnson’s announcement last Friday..

She shot 39% from the field and 30% from the three point line. Deal’s best effort was a 20-point outing in 32 minutes against Ohio State.

Levin, a 5-foot-9 sophomore guard, averaged 5.9 minutes and 1.2 points per game while appearing in 19 games. Levin was the 2024 Miss Iowa Basketball, scoring nearly 2,000 points for Solon High School.

Johnson, a 5-foot-4 junior guard out of Joliet, Illinois, appeared in only 20 career games, scoring nine points, with seven rebounds, six assists and one steal on 3-of-10 shooting in her Hawkeye career.
