Sophomore guards expected to step up at Iowa State

Sophomore guards Killyan (keel-ee-on) Toure (tore-ay) and Jamarion Batemon will take on an expanded role for the Iowa State basketball team next season. Toure started all 37 games last season and averaged just over eight and-a-half points per game. Batemon appeared in all 37 games off the bench and averaged just over six and-a-half-points per game.

That’s ISU coach T.J. Otzelberger, who says both will take on more responsibility.

Batemon says both are ready for the challenge.
