Several stars of tomorrow will compete at the John Deere Classic

The John Deere Classic has always give young golfers a chance to break through on the PGA Tour and this week’s edition will be no different. The list includes 22-year-old Luke Clanton, who tied for second at the JDC in 2024 as an amateur and former Auburn star Jackson Koivun. The 21-year-old tied for 11th at the John Deere Classic a year ago and will make his professional debut this week.

That’s John Deere Classic tournament director Andrew Lehman (who says the number of young players who are able to compete on the PGA Tour continues to grow.

The opening round of the John Deere Classic is Thursday.
