A scheduling conflict will prevent NASCAR star Kyle Larson from going for a fourth Knoxville Nationals crown. The NASCAR Cup Series race next week is Saturday night at Richmond, the same time as championship night at Knoxville. Larson is slated to run in Thursday night qualifying at Knoxville but would need a rain-out on Saturday to make both events.
Larson says he has been fortunate over the years that the Cup Series schedule has allowed him to run Knoxville several times.
