Riverside’s Jaxon Gordon, 4x100m Relay Team Heading to Drake Relays

The Riverside Bulldogs Boys Track Team is sending a total of four boys to this years’ Drake Relays. Jaxon Gordon will represent Riverside in both the 110m Hurdles and as a member of the 4x100m Relay team. His 14.54 sec time in the 110m Hurdles is the 12th fastest time in the state across all classes, and a school record. Track Head Coach Alex Oliver credits Gordon’s success to his constant drive to improve.

It has been successful season so far for the Riverside Boys as a whole with four top 3 team placements. Coach Oliver likes to set a high standard for all 35 boys that came out for track this year:

Cole Jeppesen, Paden Schechinger, Keegan Smith and Jaxon Gordon will head to Drake Relays to run on Friday, April 24th. For the Riverside team, they compete next on April 21st at the Griswold/Stanton Relays.
